Wisewool 'Blanketing'
Wisewool source the purest strong wool from farms in the Gisborne region.
The raw wool is then washed to remove dirt, grease, and other impurities. We only allow natural detergents and a natural deodoriser during the cleaning process – so no impurities or harsh chemicals are introduced to the wool.
Cleaned wool is then needle-punched to mechanically interlock the natural wool fibres. This provides superior springiness, stops the wool from clumping, and eliminates 'cold spots' - ultimately delivering a longer lifespan than regular wool products.
100% Polyester Fibre
Science has some pretty clever solutions, where nature can't deliver. Our 100% polyester fibre is a premium down alternative chosen for its exceptional softness and practical benefits.
Full disclousre - it is a synthetic material derived from petroleum and begins with a chemical reaction called polymerization.
For pillow fill, the polyester fibres are crimped to create bulk and a soft, airy texture, mimicking the feel of down while offering enhanced durability and easy care. The final result is a light, soft, and fill perfect for creating that super soft sleep experience.
